Tina Patterson

Tina E. Patterson, MDR , MCIArb is the Principal of Jade Solutions, a woman-owned, MBE/DBE/SBE, SWaM, WOSB and WBE certified small business that provides management consulting services in the areas of alternative dispute resolution and community engagement, proposal management and grants management support, and project management and training.

Tina has more than 20 years of experience as an independent arbitrator, mediator,  and facilitator. She has subject matter expertise in software development, intellectual property, cybersecurity, product management, and government contracting.

Tina has served as arbitrator in more than 100 hearings as chair, wing, and solo. Arbitrated matters ranging from securities, attorney/client fees, auto dis, construction defect, personal injury, employment, professional malpractice, land use, landlord tenant, and Home Owner. Serves on the panel of neutrals for the American Arbitration Association (AAA), the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), and the International Institute for Conflict Prevention and Resolution (CPR), Better Business Bureau (BBB) as well as the DC. Bar Attorney Client/Arbitration Board.

Tina  has also mediated matters ranging from civil to commercial disputes.

Tina has more than 20 years experience facilitating local and national community engagement efforts including projects via organizations such as America Speaks, RESOLVE, the Kellogg Foundation, and the National Institute for Civil Discourse. Tina has facilitated matters ranging from land use, policy development, strategic planning, external review team sessions, and community dialogues.

In addition, Tina served as Planning Commissioner for five years to a jurisdiction of more than 1 million inhabitants.

Tina holds a Bachelors degrees from Brown University, a Graduate Certificate in Advanced Studies in Alternative Dispute Resolution from Southern Methodist University, and a Masters in Dispute Resolution from Pepperdine University Caruso School of Law Straus Institute.

ADR Experience

Ms. Patterson has served as arbitrator (as a panel member, Chair, or sole arbitrator) in more than 100 cases. Ms. Patterson is on the neutral roster of the International Institute for Conflict Prevention & Resolution (CPR), American Arbitration Association (AAA), Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), and Dispute Resolution Boards.
