Lennon represents companies of all sizes in employment related matters in state and federal courts. His practice includes counseling and representing clients on a wide range of employment issues including federal, state, and local non-discrimination laws, wage and hour, reductions in force, work authorization and background checks, as well as employment and independent contractor classification. Lennon also has experience litigating the enforceability of restrictive covenants, including in executive level employment agreements. Lennon's past litigation and advisory services have involved large financial institutions, the hospitality industry, consumer financial services companies, C-suite executives, and a variety of other entity and individual clients.
Lennon has a strong interest in pro bono legal work. He serves on the Junior Board of the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyer’s Foundation, and regularly counsels indigent individuals experiencing housing crises. Lennon also accepts court appointed representations of criminal defendants collaterally challenging their sentences on appeal in federal court.
Before joining Seyfarth Shaw, Lennon clerked for three different federal judges in two districts in Georgia. He enjoys running, golfing, hiking, and culinary adventures of all stripes.
