Rachel Mandel

Rachel is a shareholder in the Boston office and represents management-side clients from a wide variety of industries, including healthcare, hospitality, and manufacturing. Rachel was drawn to employment law because of her interest in workplace relationships and their impact on business operations. Rachel enjoys solving puzzles and she uses that skill to tackle clients’ complex legal questions. She embraces the challenge of breaking down complicated scenarios to identify their component parts, including business demands and compliance obligations. Rachel’s clients enjoy her warm personality, her tenacity, and her focus on each client’s unique needs and interests.

Rachel provides thoughtful, pragmatic advice to clients, careful to consider their business needs and short and long-term goals. She also zealously litigates on her clients’ behalf in state and federal courts and administrative agencies in Massachusetts and Connecticut.

Rachel’s practice encompasses a wide variety of employment-related areas and she regularly counsels employers on issues such as compliance with the Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, Massachusetts and Connecticut employment laws, drug testing laws and best practices, and wage and hour laws. Rachel also provides onsite and remote training for clients (including high-level management and all levels of employees).
